They march back to the Cadet Area on Saturday, 23 July 2011. BCT II continues with more training in the CA, marching to prepare for AD, and continued SAMIs, etc. One of the biggest milestones occurs on Wednesday, 3 August 2011, Acceptance Day. See important dates and doolie year information at the C4C Year.

Thank you to Nadia Balish (2013)!
Nadia was appointed our All Academy Ball parent liaison ro represent UPALAC for the upcoming planning season. The All Academy Ball is held in coordination by the different military service academies for the pleasure of the cadets and midshipmen from all five service academies, USAFA, the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. During Winter Break, the gala ball is held every late December during the time a cadet is most likely to visit home. Nadia will keep us posted!

All of our Los Angeles County preppies earned Appointments to "The Hill" hits year. Congrats to Basic Cadets Amanda Beranek, Patrick Berwyn, and Ahmed Groce with the Class of 2015!
25 July 2011 - InP for Preppies! Farewell to our preppies as they are in-processed. They join the USAF enlisted, will receive full pay, and will attend school and learn the skills necessary to succeed at USAFA. Attitude will be the fundamental lesson throughout the Preppie year.

CLASS OF 2012 The firsties love their Class Ring! They have 3 years behind them and now face the final year at USAFA. Class of 2012 Parents' Group CLASS OF 2013 The newly minted 2os face their next big milestone: Commitment on 3 August 2011, the date by which they decide whether to stay the course or leave USAFA. Already, the 2013 headcount has dipped below the Class of 2012. Class of 2013 Parents' Group

CLASS OF 2014 The 3os welcome their easiest year at USAFA, when they will have time for their studies and duties. They'll also have more time for leisure pursuits, and smiles among this class will be more often found than their doolie year. Class of 2014 Parents' Group CLASS OF 2015 Now is the time when many class parents begin joining the USAFA class parent yahoo group for the privacy, security, and convenience to say what they will without worrying about cadre infiltrating their ranks. AD is fast approaching with its concommitant change from summer to academic squadrons. The reason why the doolies do not stay with their academic squadrons is that USAFA wants the cadets to be comfortable in their squadrons. How may a cadet feel friendly towards uppers who have formerly served as cadre or who trained the cadets? It's best to move on. Class of 2015 Parents' Group
