Graduates: Assignments
100's Night
100's Night is a storied tradition at the Academy. It's the second Friday in every February.
It's the night when doolies are permitted to decorate the firsties' rooms in whatever manner they want,
constrained only by their ingenuity & imagination. More importantly, it's a
Big Night for the Firsties: they learn their duty assignments
upon graduation & how they will serve their commissions in the U.S. Air Force.
We are proud to have known these cadets who will gain their commissions soon as 2nd Lieutenants.
They have undergone the difficulties of the four years at the United States Air Force Academy.
They have gone from appointees to doolies & have worked hard to become leaders. We stand with their
parents & salute these fine young men & women.
Congratulations to our grads!
